Accounts Payable Officer
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable functions within CHEOPS.
- Process incoming invoices and allocate them to relevant projects.
- Coordinate with project teams for clarifications and invoice approvals.
- Set up new suppliers and subcontractors in CHEOPS.
- Conduct mid- and end-month payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure supplier and subcontractor insurance documents are current.
- Prepare and deliver reports as required by the Accounts Manager.
- Support process improvement initiatives within AP and finance.
- Assist with general administrative and financial tasks when required.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
- Exposure to construction or project-based environments (advantageous).
- Experience using CHEOPS or similar accounting/ERP systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Proficient With
- CHEOPS or equivalent financial management software.

Experience Advantage
- Experience in end-to-end AP in a construction or property management environment.
- Prior exposure to Australian accounting standards or clients.
