Role Overview:

    • We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have a background in landscape architecture, architecture, or urban design, with expertise in 3D modelling and construction documentation. The role involves collaborating with the project team on terrain modelling, 3D rendering, and managing BIM systems to improve our design and documentation processes.
    • You will work closely with our National BIM Manager to enhance existing systems and templates using software platforms like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and GIS. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing design and construction documentation across landscape architecture and urban design projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • 3D Modelling & Terrain Design: Develop and manage terrain models, ensuring high-quality design and accurate representation in all BIM systems.
    • 3D Rendering: Extract 3D models for rendering in Lumion/TwinMotion for visualisation purposes.
    • BIM System Enhancement: Collaborate with the National BIM Manager to improve and streamline existing systems, templates, and processes, ensuring they meet the latest project requirements.
    • Design Documentation: Prepare and assist in the preparation of design drawings and construction documentation (preferred, but not essential).
    • Software & Tools Management: Work with software platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, GIS, and the Adobe Creative Suite to create high-quality models and documentation.
    • Scripting and Automation: Utilise Dynamo and Iron Python scripting for automating workflows and improving project efficiency.
    • Project Coordination: Support project management activities, especially in coordinated Common Data Environments (CDEs) like Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360.
    • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Analyse and interpret business needs, developing appropriate technical solutions to optimize project outcomes.
    • Communication: Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.
    • People Co-ordination: guide and co-ordinate a team of designers to ensure the seamless delivery of project outcomes to the wider team.

    Essential Experience/Attributes:

    • Tertiary Qualification: Degree in landscape architecture, architecture, or urban design.
    • Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT and design, with a strong focus on BIM coordination and project delivery.
    • Technical Expertise:
      • Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
      • Strong skills in Navisworks, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modelling software.
      • Experience with Dynamo and Iron Python scripting (preferred, but not essential).
      • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360 setup and operation.
    • Project Management: Strong project management experience, particularly within a structured or agile environment.
    • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyse design problems and develop technical solutions.
      Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
