Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure all entries comply with Australian Accounting Standards (AASBs).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow tracking.
• Process GST, BAS, and PAYG obligations in line with ATO requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Liaise with clients and external accountants to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Support audits and respond to financial queries from clients or regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience as a bookkeeper with Australian clients.
• Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar software.
• Knowledge of Australian tax regulations, GST, BAS reporting.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Accounting/bookkeeping qualification preferred (e.g., Certificate IV).
