About the Role:
To assist in the development and maintenance of WBPs platform (Salesforce) to ensure the design and functionality is optimised in line with company, industry and client requirements and user group needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of WBPs software applications
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle including day to day programming, development of new modules and applications, maintenance, bug fixing, and continuous improvement of business applications on the Salesforce Lightning.
- Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and stakeholders to examine and translate business requirements into solutions using the Salesforce Lightning platform.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best-practices and perform peer code reviews to ensure the same.
- Manage, maintain & improve application design, administration and maintenance.
- Identify and recommend improvements to systems and processes to further improve business efficiency.
- Take ownership of assigned features or modules through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Perform Unit Testing and complete Test Classes as part of quality control for upgrade deployments.
- Follow secure coding practices to ensure the application is free of coding vulnerabilities.
- Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing.
- Interact with third party vendors and developers as required.
- Monitor application data and file storage usage and archive as needed.
- Ensure backups of Salesforce and legacy data and files are successful.
- Document the application and enhancements to facilitate maintenance.
- Participate in 'Go-Live' deployment and support activities.
- Ensure WBP applications are released and operate with minimal downtime/impact to the business.
Continuous Improvement
- Develop enhancements for current and future applications, as directed.
- Maintain and improve overall quality of the code base and applications.
- Contribute to the design and planning of future modules and enhancements.
- Proactively identify technical debt and recommend remediation approaches.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of client and business needs & industry best practice.
Provide WBP staff with application support and technical expertise
- Provide application support to internal users via phone, email and in person when required.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline, essential;
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II (desirable)
Knowledge and Experiences:
- 5+ years of hands-on production Salesforce development experience with CRM Platform
- Experience with developing and configuration of complex orgs (i.e. Service Cloud, Sales
- Cloud and Field Service Lightning, integrations, automation scale)
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices using Apex and Lightning components
- Fluent in Apex, Triggers, SOQL, LWCs and Salesforce OOB features
- Experience with API development including Mulesoft (desirable)
- Experience owning features end-to-end (design-build-deploy-support)
- Some experience developing Agentic AI for Salesforce and/or using AI tools to complement development efforts (desirable)
- Experience using source control tools and deploying applications to development, test and production environments
- Proven track record of providing quality service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Other requirements:
- This role is subject to the satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check (NCHC) also known as a Police Check
- Offshore Working Expectations (if applicable):
o Ability to work effectively with an Australia-based team across time zones
o Availability for overlap with AEST business hours (e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies)
o Strong written communication skills for async collaboration (Jira, Confluence, Teams) - Travel
