Objectives of the Role:
The objective of this role is to assist our administration team with the data entry, preparation of client documents and ongoing maintenance of our systems. You will be responsible for ensuring our administration team is adequality supported, and the client information in our CRM system is accurate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft proposals and correct accepted jobs as required for the team
  • Draft TPM (Tax Planning Meeting) notes
  • Xero setup & Payroll set up
  • Collect ATO reports as needed
  • Collate tax schedules as needed
  • Save BAS documents to client source documents
  • Download and save Qsuper summaries
  • Prepare meeting notes for accountant meetings
  • Update workflow
  • Project work as needed
  • Assist the CSC with daily tasks as required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • Secondary education required
  • Applicable tertiary degree preferred but not required

Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience working in a similar role
  • Any experience within the public practice / Australian accounting industry is highly regarded.

Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks as required by the administration team
  • Work effectively with others in a team environment

PERFORMANCE GOALS

  • Complete administration tasks on time
  • Ensure all information in systems is correct and up to date.
  • Effective management of time, and creates efficiencies when completing tasks
  • Communicate effectively with manager – openly and honestly
