About the Role: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data across multiple systems, enabling better decision-making across the business.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to effectively query databases using languages like SQL, ETL for data migration and have programming skills in Python or R for data process automation

• Simplify complex data, interpret results and use these results for decision making and problem solving

• Ability to express in detail technical findings concerning data errors, and find solutions that stakeholders can understand and follow-up with appropriate actions

Key Tools and Technologies to be used:

• Use of ETL Tools to extract data from various systems, transforms and formats data for easy usage and to store data in a database where it can be easily accessed.

• Analyzing and correcting data regarding missing information, mistakes and inconsistencies using data quality tools such as Acceldata's Data Observability Platform

• Converting raw data into graphs, charts for easy access using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI

• Consistent use of data standardization, deduplication, enrichment, transformation and governance to maintain high data standards and guarantee its accuracy, consistency and data dependability

Experience Required:

• Ability to process by looking into structure, patterns, and contents to such problems such as missing information or mistakes

• Able to correct or exclude inaccurate, incomplete and irrelevant data to have a error free dataset for future analysis

• Experience in ensuring that data meets high predefined standards and business requirements.

• Has the ability to ensure that all data is consistent and compatible and able to immediately resolve discrepancies that may occur.

• Has a keen skill to track and assess data continuously to confirm its accuracy, consistency and reliability over time to ensure that all new problems will be rapidly identified.
